Shanghai will convene a citywide mobilization meeting on agricultural science-and-technology system reform, the municipal agriculture and rural affairs commission said at a July 8 press briefing. Director Feng Zhiyong said the meeting, to be held soon, will strengthen organized agricultural R&D, raise the effectiveness of the agricultural science and innovation system and drive development of new-quality agricultural productivity under Shanghai’s 15th Five-Year Plan for rural revitalization.
