On July 6 Huawei announced a July 14 flagship launch in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the Pura 90 series targeting international markets. Ahead of the event a circulated video shows the Pura 90 Pro Max international model displaying 5G in the status bar and a speed test peaking above 1,100 Mbps, indicating Huawei’s international flagship may resume 5G support after several years. Huawei has not commented.

The dollar index, which measures the currency against six major peers, rose 0.17% to 101.023 at the New York close. The euro traded at $1.1419, down from $1.1443; the pound at $1.3363, down from $1.3395. The dollar was ¥161.94, below ¥162.06 previously; it traded at 0.8076 Swiss francs, above 0.8050; at C$1.4195, below C$1.4209; and at 9.6784 Swedish krona, above 9.6255.
