World Gold Council report: listed funds across regions saw continued outflows in
June (-$8.9 bln), but strong Asian demand left global gold ETFs with net inflows
of $8.0 bln in 1H. Global gold ETF assets under management were $526 bln at
end-June, down 6% in 1H mainly due to lower gold prices. Total ETF holdings rose
18 tonnes in 1H to 4,047 tonnes. Trading volumes eased in June, though 1H
average daily turnover hit a record $488 bln.
