U.S. natural gas futures fell about 4% after the EIA reported a larger-than-expected storage build and Freeport LNG said its export facility entered maintenance.

Under guidance from the Global Computing Alliance and hosted by the OpenAI Infra community, Huawei and more than 20 industry partners — including China Mobile Research Institute, JD Cloud, Baidu and the China Electronics Standardization Research Institute — launched the OPEN NPO project in Beijing and established China’s first NPO optical interconnect MSA (Multi-Source Agreement). The initiative aims to create an open, unified near-package optical standards framework to accelerate next‑generation high‑speed optical interconnect innovation and industry coordination, and to support development of domestic high‑end AI compute infrastructure and a self‑contained high‑speed optical interconnect ecosystem.
