Southbound funds were net buyers of CNY9.83 bln today. Via Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, Zhipu and Huahong Hongli recorded net buys of HKD2.787 bln and HKD1.001 bln; the Tracker Fund of Hong Kong posted the largest net sell at HKD2.313 bln. Via Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect, Zhipu and Alibaba Group were top net buys at HKD2.788 bln and HKD1.499 bln; Tencent Holdings logged the largest net sell at HKD628 mln.

At the morning open, China’s most-active futures were mostly lower. Shanghai crude oil (SC) slid more than 3%; coking coal fell nearly 3%; benzene and coke dropped over 2%; fuel oil and low‑sulfur fuel oil (LU) fell about 2%; polypropylene and the polypropylene monthly‑average contract declined over 1%. On the upside, Shanghai silver rose more than 3%; pulp and Shanghai tin gained over 2%; platinum, palladium, polysilicon, international copper, Shanghai copper, Shanghai zinc, Shanghai gold and eggs were up more than 1%.
