CEO Tian Hua said Shangwei New Materials will give the global public debut of
its transformable, consumer-grade robot Qiyuan T1 at the World Artificial
Intelligence Conference (WAIC). The company positions the T1 for home consumer
use and away from traditional humanoid form factors. Shangwei has opened offline
experience stores in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Xiamen and Guangzhou and said
channel expansion is underway.
