Premier Li Qiang chaired a State Council executive meeting to review natural
resource protection and use. The meeting called for stronger implementation of
the main functional zones strategy and optimization of national land-use and
spatial development, leveraging metropolitan areas and city clusters as engines
for high-quality growth. It also urged enhancing the resilience of land-space
security and improving natural disaster prevention and mitigation capacity.
