CHINA STATE PLANNER said it will coordinate with the interministerial coal–power–oil–gas–transport support mechanism to closely monitor power supply and demand, enforce responsibilities and implement measures to secure electricity for the economy and reliable household supply while expanding green power use. Priority actions: 1) Boost generation and supply resilience by ensuring production and delivery of primary energy (coal, natural gas) and optimizing dispatch across wind, solar, hydro, thermal and storage to raise peak supply capacity. 2) Improve interregional mutual support by leveraging the national unified electricity market to facilitate efficient power mutual-aid and broader optimization of resource allocation. 3) Enhance supply–demand coordination through more granular demand-side management and promotion of new demand-side business models to shave peaks, fill valleys and safeguard stable grid operation.
