Taiwan's Commercial Times reports TSMC’s CoWoS advanced-packaging fab in Chiayi Science Park Phase I began mass production in June. About 90 hectares for Phase II held a groundbreaking on the 12th; TSMC will lead development of an advanced-packaging cluster. The park has reserved space for third and fourth fabs and further expansion.

CSI Convertible Bond Index opened down 0.11%. Jingzhuang convertible bond, Lanxiao Convertible 02, Hongwei convertible bond, Lianrui convertible bond and Shengde convertible bond led declines, down 3.72%, 3.47%, 3.30%, 3.22% and 2.22% respectively. HD KSOE said on Monday it has won a 545.6 bln won (about $362.3m) order from a European client to build three very large ammonia carriers (VLACs). Unit HD Hyundai Samho will build the vessels with delivery scheduled in 1H 2030. The order brings HD KSOE's YTD bookings to 142 vessels worth $16.39 bln, equal to 70.3% of its annual order target.
