The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and three other ministries
issued guidance aiming for system-level breakthroughs in high-quality internet
infrastructure development by 2030. The document calls for strengthened internet
technology innovation planning and implementation of national key R&D programs
and major science projects to drive original-technology breakthroughs. Priority
areas named: integration of AI, blockchain and distributed identifiers with
internet foundational resources; network dynamic optimization, intelligent
resource scheduling and secure data exchange; IPv6 technology-system innovation
to resolve protocol compatibility and high-performance transmission;
satellite-internet mega-constellation networking, fast routing switchover and
resilient transmission; and large-scale deployment and application of public-key
infrastructure.
