Iran's foreign ministry said regional actors now understand that preserving
state survival requires necessary self‑defense capabilities. It said if a
country faces attack or occupation, its citizens have the right to defend their
homes and territory, and that Lebanese more than anyone understand the value of
resistance forces in defending Lebanon's sovereignty, dignity and independence.
