CENTCOM said on the local date of the 13th the US struck 140 targets overnight on the 12th, following strikes on 90 and 80 targets on the nights of the 9th and 8th respectively. In pre-dawn action on the 13th the US said it hit "dozens of targets" at multiple locations. US assessments say the tempo of strikes has increased and the strike zone has expanded from the Strait of Hormuz coast into inland Iran, indicating the current round of conflict has further escalated.
