A White House official said President Trump will support passage of a bipartisan
Russia sanctions bill led by the late Senator Lindsey Graham. The announcement,
made days after Graham’s unexpected death, could remove a key political obstacle
to legislation Graham and Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal had said the
administration was prepared to back; negotiators said last Friday an agreement
had been reached after extensive talks. Senate Republican leader John Thune said
the White House worked closely with Graham on the measure and expressed optimism
