China's main futures contracts closed mixed in the morning session. SC crude oil rose more than 9%; fuel oil gained nearly 8%; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) advanced over 7%. LPG, propylene, asphalt, plastics, ethylene glycol (EG) and ethylbenzene (EB) each rose over 5%. On the downside, Shanghai silver fell more than 2%; Shanghai gold, soda ash, polysilicon and Shanghai lead were down over 1%.

At a manufacturer in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, overseas buyers are requesting modifications to an electric three-wheeler bound for Indonesia. The company says its vehicles are mainly exported to Europe and Southeast Asia, where narrow rural roads, orchards and fields favor small electric three-wheelers. Xuzhou's 1H exports of electric three-wheelers topped 3.0 bln yuan, up about 90% YoY; parts exports were about 1.6 bln yuan, up more than 10% YoY.
