KPLER data show a sharp slowdown in vessel transits through the Strait of
Hormuz. From July 1-10, after a memorandum of understanding was reached,
confirmed transits of bulk-commodity vessels totaled 296, about 30 per day. From
July 11-13 confirmed transits fell to 32, roughly 11 per day. KPLER recorded
only 12 confirmed transits between July 12-13 as of the evening of July 13.
