On the 14th local time, the Omani Foreign Ministry said it will continue to
cooperate with parties in a transparent, neutral manner to promote restoration
of freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and to ensure related
arrangements fully comply with international law. The ministry said Oman will
continue to fulfil its obligations as a signatory to the United Nations
Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and urged relevant parties to respect
and resolve related matters in accordance with international law.
