Envision Power said its Yichang super factory has started production. The plant
makes the world's largest prismatic-wound 790Ah energy-storage cell with an
energy density of 440 Wh/L; over 50% of that cell capacity is already reserved
by overseas orders, effectively making initial output export-oriented. Yichang
is promoted as the first global 100+ GWh full-chain energy-storage base: phase I
targets 40 GWh of cell capacity and began construction in October 2025, while
phase II — planned for 60 GWh of cells and 60 GWh of storage-system capacity —
started construction in April this year.
