July 14 — XPeng founder He Xiaopeng attended localized acceptance testing in Germany for the company’s second-generation VLA model. The model can identify complex European road signs, interpret European traffic rules and right-of-way, and adapt to local driving habits. The acceptance marks a key milestone in overseas localization; XPeng is the first Chinese automaker to deploy the same VLA model in both China and Europe.
