Japan's Nikkei 225 fell 1,915.97 points (-2.79%) to 66,835.54; Kioxia lost 14%. South Korean authorities said they will announce measures soon to address volatility amplified by leveraged ETFs tied to Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.
