Infineon Technologies AG is partnering with Amazon Web Services to speed microcontroller (MCU) evaluation and shorten automotive system development cycles. The AWS-backed cloud platform enables virtual evaluation of Infineon automotive MCUs without physical hardware, cutting evaluation times from weeks to minutes, lowering per-user costs and supporting hundreds of concurrent global users. The platform already integrates Infineon's next-generation RISC-V architecture MCUs.

South African media cited the National Nuclear Regulator on 16 that Koeberg nuclear power station near Cape Town experienced three recent radioactive contamination incidents; the regulator said there was no release of radioactivity to the environment and no impact on public health or environmental safety.
