The 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence opened in Shanghai on July 17. CHINA will attend the opening ceremony and deliver the keynote address.

Thailand Prime Minister Anutin arrived at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport on the evening of the 16th to attend the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Meeting on AI Global Governance and to conduct an official visit to China. This is Anutin’s first formal visit to China since taking office. In 2025 China and Thailand signed an MoU to deepen AI cooperation, covering joint AI development and governance and measures to promote AI technologies for both countries’ populations.
