CNN reports President Trump used a rare wartime primetime address but did not
outline a response strategy to the escalating Iran conflict. He barely mentioned
the issue, saying "we have the most powerful military in the world today... I
built it in my first term, but unfortunately we are now forced to use it," and
asserting the US is "winning big" and that results will be seen soon. That was
his only reference to the conflict.
