Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it struck the US
special-operations command center at Al Tanf in southern Syria, killing "many"
US troops and destroying a radar system and several special-operations
helicopters. The IRGC said the attack was retaliation for a US airstrike on
Iranshahr and part of the 11th phase of the Nasr-2 operation. It warned the
Strait of Hormuz remains under its control and that, while US "aggression"
continues, no oil or gas will be allowed to be exported.
