China Mobile, China Eastern Airlines, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) and ZTE signed a four-party 5G air-to-ground (5G-ATG) cooperation agreement in Shanghai. The partners will integrate passenger air travel with 5G-ATG communications, edge/AI computing and large-model AI technologies and accelerate upgrading aviation internet from basic onboard connectivity toward higher speeds, broader service coverage, smarter operations and greater industry autonomy.

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has instructed local radio regulatory bodies to immediately investigate and crack down on suspected unlawful online sales of signal jammers. Authorities will coordinate with local public security and market supervision departments to conduct inspections, rapidly address suspected violations, and have ordered e-commerce platforms to remove listings and merchant accounts selling such devices.
