Iranian sources said on the 18th that US strikes on Hormozgan province
infrastructure continued, hitting the Benji desalination plant west of Jask.
Seawater intake pumps and associated power transformers were destroyed, cutting
drinking water to about 10,000 people across 20 villages, Hormozgan Water and
Wastewater Company CEO Abdul Hamid Hamzehpour said. Company crews are supplying
emergency water and repairing equipment to restore service as soon as possible.
