UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) says it has received a report from a verified source that a vessel was on fire about 8 nm northwest of Kumzar, Oman; cause of the fire is unconfirmed.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, with other departments, has issued an implementation plan for the pharmaceutical industry’s digital‑intelligent transformation for 2025–2030. The plan mandates coordinated digital and smart upgrades, phased development of intelligent drug factories and support for 21 drugmakers to build best‑in‑class smart plants as flagship applications. It also accelerates a green, low‑carbon transition, targets cultivation of more than 300 green factories, and backs green technologies to lower costs, raise efficiency and improve safety.
