Guangzhou will deepen a targeted consumption-boosting campaign, focusing on the summer holiday and the Sept–Oct peak spending season to unlock domestic demand. The city will expand diversified international markets, promote exports of “New Three Items” specialty products and imports of bulk commodities, and cultivate new growth points. Authorities will accelerate industrial restructuring—scaling up new-quality productive capacity, optimizing industrial layout, upgrading traditional trade and commerce, and prioritizing AI, integrated circuits (ICs), new energy storage and the low‑altitude economy to build high‑tech, high‑growth, large‑scale industrial pillars and a modern Guangzhou‑characteristic industrial system.
