China and Thailand agreed to deepen strategic cooperation, increase high-level exchanges and inter-parliamentary and interagency contact, and set up a foreign- and defense-ministers "2+2" strategic dialogue to strengthen coordination. They pledged to expand market access and promote local participation in high-quality, responsible investment that complies with local laws and environmental standards to support bilateral trade growth. Both sides said they will finalize the next China–Thailand five-year economic and trade cooperation joint action plan as soon as possible.
