As of July 20, Shanghai Stock Exchange margin financing balance was CNY 1.362747 tln, down CNY 30.086 bln from the previous trading day; Shenzhen Stock Exchange margin financing balance was CNY 1.326713 tln, down CNY 29.599 bln. Combined margin financing across the two exchanges was CNY 2.68946 tln, down CNY 59.685 bln versus the prior trading day.

Under guidance from MIIT’s Information and Communication Administration, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and core upstream-to-downstream industry partners have launched an NTN (non-terrestrial networks) satellite communications pioneer initiative. The program will deploy an integrated ground–space simulation, testing and pilot verification platform to tackle key NTN-based space–ground integration technologies, conduct end-to-end trials and validation, and combine three core capabilities—simulation, performance testing and reliability assessment—into a full lifecycle loop from digital simulation to hardware testing to in-orbit verification.

Nikita Bier, head of product at X, said the team is accelerating development; video, a video editor and Spaces are due to launch soon. Cashtags, custom timelines and other features have been rolled out, and many upcoming features will debut on Android first.
