Kazakhstan plans to suspend crude deliveries to Black Sea ports after several tankers were attacked near the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) terminal at Novorossiysk, sources said. Shipowners, citing security concerns, have refused to send vessels to the CPC terminal, which will stop receiving pipeline deliveries; the pause is expected to begin Tuesday evening. Sources warned that if the disruption to CPC shipments persists through the weekend, Kazakhstan may be forced to cut oil production. The CPC route is Kazakhstan's largest export outlet. Multiple tankers have been struck at or near the CPC terminal in recent days; Ukraine has not claimed responsibility for the attacks, which involved Western-linked vessels.
