Pakistan's prime minister's office and the military said in separate statements that an Iranian minister met with Pakistan's chief of army staff and the prime minister.

The National Energy Administration said in a July 21 report that China’s crude output reached a record 216 mln tonnes in 2025 and natural gas production exceeded 100 bcm for the ninth consecutive year, taking oil-and-gas output equivalent to a record 420 mln tonnes. The agency said domestic supply capacity has significantly improved and the sector has entered a new phase of simultaneous scale and efficiency gains alongside greener development.

The Wall Street Journal reports BAE Systems said a Ukrainian firm will manufacture artillery weapons. BAE said that if Ukraine can produce such large foreign-made systems domestically, Patriot air-defence missiles could be next.
