Iraq's oil minister says agreements with US firms will significantly boost Iraq's oil production capacity and drive investment in associated natural gas.

July 20 — SAMR director Luo Wen and Thailand’s minister of commerce signed a memorandum of understanding between the State Administration for Market Regulation and Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce to cooperate on intellectual property enforcement. The MoU establishes coordinated IP-protection measures including exchange and dialogue, enforcement information sharing, and training of enforcement personnel to strengthen joint IP enforcement capacity.
