China's Taiwan Affairs Office spokeswoman Zhang Han said cross‑strait trade in 1H 2026 totaled $185bn, with mainland imports from Taiwan at $133.1bn (+22.5% YoY) and mainland exports to Taiwan $31.9bn (+32.9% YoY). She said the data show complementary industrial structures and broad cooperation prospects, adding that strengthening cross‑strait economic and trade ties and deepening integration align with market forces and enterprise interests.
