At the morning session close, China’s main futures contracts were mostly higher.
Palladium rose over 5%; Shanghai silver gained about 5%; platinum, Shanghai
crude (SC) and fuel oil climbed more than 4%; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) was up
over 3%; Shanghai gold advanced nearly 3%. On the downside, caustic soda,
soybean oil and iron ore fell more than 1%; styrene (EB), Shanghai lead,
rapeseed oil and benzene declined about 1%.
