China's power sector rallied after the NDRC and National Energy Administration
released the renewable energy development "15th Five-Year" plan; green power,
grid equipment and UHV-related names led gains and more than 20 stocks hit daily
limits. The plan sets 2030 targets of roughly 3,500 GW total renewable power
capacity and about 6,000 TWh annual generation. It calls for wind and solar
combined capacity of at least 2,800 GW (over 50% of capacity) with annual
generation above 4,000 TWh, about 30% of total power generation.
