After four days of net buying, global investors resumed selling Korean stocks, trimming technology positions. NH Investment & Securities Korea cash equities head Shawn Oh said local funds reduced tech holdings and lowered risk ahead of the weekend amid ongoing Middle East tensions. Samsung Securities sales trader Roy Lim said some Asian hedge funds were selling Samsung and SK Hynix to build positions in China’s ChangXin Technology ahead of its July 27 listing.

On July 23, Yang Mu, director of the Department of Market Operation and Consumption Promotion at MOFCOM, said at a State Council Information Office briefing that China’s prize-invoice pilot in 50 cities has deployed 9.05 bln yuan, generated more than 860 mln participations and 380 mln winning instances (44.5% win rate), and involved over 3.6 tln yuan in invoice value.
