The move is being advanced after calls from South Korea's President Lee to expedite supplementary measures for single-stock leveraged ETFs. The Korea Financial Investment Association on the 21st held a technical meeting with brokers, the Korea Exchange and Koscom IT staff to discuss implementation. Regulators are still finalising the precise timing and how the new margin will be applied.
