XPeng has started small-batch pilot production of its humanoid robot at its Guangzhou factory; the mass-production line is in final joint debugging and the mass-production sprint is in its final countdown. The company targets mass production in 2026 and plans phased deployments to XPeng stores and commercial venues from 2027 for roles such as sales and customer guidance. XPeng says the robot unit will consolidate group capabilities across hardware, large AI models, supply chain and marketing, and reuse its automotive soft/hardware co-development, intelligent manufacturing and global channel experience for the robotics business.
