At a July 24 State Council Information Office briefing on 1H 2026 rural economic
performance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said this year is the
first year of normalized assistance and that monitoring mechanisms and targeted
one-household-one-policy measures have been strengthened. Central government has
allocated 177 bln yuan in regular assistance funds, prioritizing development-led
support for industry employment and improvements to development conditions in
underdeveloped areas.
