EU oil coordination group says the bloc has no oil supply concerns.

Mitsubishi UFJ Bank analyst Derek Halpenny said an escalating US–Iran conflict could make it harder for Japan to prevent further yen weakness. US President Trump said he will decide imminently whether to order an unprecedented large-scale strike on Iran. Halpenny warned a strike that pushes oil prices higher could lift market pricing of Fed rate hikes, further constraining Japan’s ability to cap USD/JPY gains.
