The China Green Certificate Price Index is compiled from nationwide green-certificate transaction prices, using the national average price for a specified period as the base and standardized into a composite, nationwide authoritative price index. It is designed to objectively reflect the supply-demand balance and price trend in China’s green certificate market. The index uses January 2025 as the base period; the initial release provides monthly index values from January 2025 onward and the NEA will publish the index on a regular monthly basis.
