Iranian Fars News, citing Arab sources, reported Saudi Arabia carried out airstrikes on Yemen’s Hodeidah port. Houthi-linked Al Masirah TV also reported strikes on Hodeidah. Earlier, the Saudi state news agency said Saudi vessel NCC MASA was attacked in the Red Sea and sustained light hull damage.

ANTHROPIC launched Claude OPUS 5, a general-purpose AI model priced at about half the cost of its more advanced Fable 5 while delivering near-Fable 5 performance across multiple categories. The firm said OPUS 5 is targeted at routine office workloads and improves self-checking, scientific-research and code-optimization capabilities. ANTHROPIC added OPUS 5’s ability to find cybersecurity vulnerabilities is close to MYTHOS 5, though it remains notably weaker at exploiting those vulnerabilities; the release comes as enterprises and rivals including OpenAI, Meta and SpaceXAI compete to offer more cost-efficient models.
