bilateral memorandum. He said Iranian forces will treat US bases in Jordan,
Kuwait and Bahrain as core targets, describing them as among Washington's most
important regional bases. The June understanding on Strait of Hormuz shipping
has broken down; US strikes on Iran ran for 13 consecutive nights and Iran
subsequently struck US bases in Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan. US media reported
Trump suspended further strikes on Friday, citing concerns about interceptor
missile stocks and to leave room for diplomacy.
