On the 26th, President PEZESHKIAN and the minister of Roads and Urban Development received a briefing on damage to border crossings, ports, highways and railways. He said U.S. strikes on those civilian transport facilities were "clear war crimes" and called for legal accountability through relevant international organizations and bodies.

Ukraine energy minister Denys Shmyhal said Kyiv is seeking to sign a 30-year strategic energy agreement with Canada and has proposed an "energy security bridge" focused on Canadian LNG supplies. Shmyhal said he discussed the proposal with Canadian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Tim Hodgson; he added President Zelenskiy and Prime Minister Carney had reached related understandings. Talks also covered a possible CAD 650 mln (~$461 mln) direct grant from Canada to help Ukraine buy winter gas, part of Ottawa’s broader aid package.

South Korean President Lee said Seoul will push to open free-trade agreement negotiations with Mercosur and deepen cooperation on critical minerals to build resilient cross-regional supply chains. He highlighted South America’s sizable agriculture, food, energy and key mineral resources alongside Korea’s strengths in high-end manufacturing, digital technology, shipbuilding and batteries, saying the two sides can combine advantages to secure supply chains, foster emerging industries and create quality jobs. Lee said Korea will leverage its technology, industrial experience and investment capacity in cooperation on mineral supply and related sectors, and will restart FTA talks with Mercosur.
