TP200, China's first multi-role long-endurance UAV developed to airworthiness
requirements, completed its maiden flight in Yantai, Shandong. Built by Yitong
UAV, the platform demonstrated stable attitude control and met design targets
for climb and cruise speed during trials. Designed for long-endurance,
high-altitude operations, TP200 achieves full-load endurance of more than 24
hours. Its modular, multi-payload, one-airframe multiple-configuration design
enables rapid mission switching and targets higher equipment reuse, greater
commonality and lower procurement and O&M costs, and will support the shift of
large unmanned aircraft from specialised applications into scaled government and
civilian markets.
