Hyundai Motor Group said it is repositioning as a provider of physical-AI
solutions covering autonomous driving, robotics and AI-driven smart
manufacturing. As part of the strategy, Hyundai and NVIDIA will co-develop a
robotics reference platform with standardized hardware and software to speed
development and validation for startups, universities and research institutes.
Hyundai also disclosed a broader roadmap including tie-ups with Waymo and Google
DeepMind and said it will accelerate digital-twin and autonomous-driving R&D,
building on a previously announced plan to procure 50,000 NVIDIA GPUs.
