An Israeli state social-media account said Prime Minister Netanyahu has departed
for Washington to meet US President Trump at the latter's invitation to discuss
mutual concerns. Netanyahu still faces an International Criminal Court (ICC)
arrest warrant issued in November 2024 against him and former defence minister
Yoav Gallant, accusing them of crimes against humanity during Israel's Gaza
campaign. The White House visit will be Netanyahu's seventh meeting with Trump
since the president's return in January 2025.
