The Lebanese army on July 26 condemned ongoing Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon, saying they obstruct full Lebanese troop deployments under a trilateral framework agreed last month with Israel and the United States. The army said the Israeli Defense Forces continue attacks it says breach international law, systematically destroying homes and bombing multiple southern areas, and that the strikes have prevented troop deployment and stopped residents from returning home.
