On July 27, Ibrahim Azizi, chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly, warned Ukraine that any attack on Iran would "pay a price." Azizi said on social media that the United States and Israel have already recognized this and that Ukraine will soon do so, adding Iran will not leave attacks unanswered.

Profits at China's raw-materials manufacturing enterprises above designated size rose 71.7% YoY in 1H, lifting total profits of industrial enterprises above designated size by 8.8 percentage points, the National Bureau of Statistics said. Nonferrous metals profits climbed 99.4% YoY—supported by firmer copper and aluminium demand—adding 4.7 percentage points to aggregate industrial profit growth. Petroleum processing swung back to profit as petroleum-chain product prices rose, while chemical industry profits advanced 67.8% YoY.
