Jordan's armed forces said on the morning of the 27th (local time) the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted and shot down two drones targeting Jordanian territory. The statement said there were no casualties or property damage. Royal Jordanian engineers have moved to the wreckage to dispose of debris and have cordoned off and rendered the site safe under technical and safety procedures. The armed forces said they will continue to closely monitor Jordanian airspace and remain at highest readiness to respond to any threats to national and citizen security.
